The entrepreneurial journey often seems like a hustle. A race to the finish line. But, what defines the finish line?
If you ask many entrepreneurs, they’ll immediately blurt out “a buyout”. For other entrepreneurs the finish line is defined by building a lasting legacy or making a substantial social impact.
Have you checked in lately about what’s really important to you and why? Take a moment. Yes, now! Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Now ask yourself, “What am I willing to struggle for?”
Seem like an odd question? Challenge yourself to sit back and answer it anyway. This is the single most important question that defines what happiness, freedom and wealth look like for you. As an act of accountability tell me what you are willing to struggle for here.
Mark Manson describes it well, “I wanted the reward and not the struggle. I wanted the result and not the process. I was in love not with the fight but only the victory. And life doesn’t work that way.
Who you are is defined by the values you are willing to struggle for. This is the most simple and basic component of life: our struggles determine our successes.”
I’m here to support you on your entrepreneurial adventure and today I encourage you to give yourself permission to embrace the struggle.
Cheers to your happiness, freedom and wealth!
